Short presentation of the programme:
The training in the programme comprises specialised courses in Risk Sciences, Geopolitics and Security, Environmental and Technological Security, Corporate and Company Intelligence, Security Fundamentals, Crisis Management, Diplomatic and Consular Law, Migrations and Security. There are specialisations in the fields of Internal Security, International Security, Migration and Diplomacy. There is a preparatory module for applicants who hold degrees in other professional areas.

Practical training courses:
The program provides internships in the system of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Interior, Refugee Agency, Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, private companies and corporations.

Graduate Student Competencies:
Graduates will have mastered systematic and up-to-date knowledge and skills in:
• trends, organisations and mechanisms for implementing global, regional and national security;
• institutional and legal systems of internal and corporate security and management at all administrative levels;
• processing, storage and protection of information in the public and private sector and use of modern information technologies;
• building systems for crisis management, risk assessment and resource provision for activities in overcoming them;
• management of national and international projects related to the creation, adoption and improvement of the regulatory framework of the security sector.
Graduation:
Completion of studies takes place by defending a master’s dissertation or passing a state exam upon earning the required number of credits. GPA below 4.50 requires taking a state exam.
The graduation process complies with the NBU Standard for Educational and Qualification Degree Completion.
Occupation and possible positions:
Graduates pursue careers as managers and experts in the system of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Interior, Refugee Agency, private companies and corporations.
