Graduate Student Competencies:

Graduates will have mastered knowledge and skills in:

• tasks, structure and organisation of activity of the bodies counteracting various forms of crime and terrorism;

• strategy and tactics in planning and carrying out measures to prevent the commission of crimes and terrorist acts;

• principles of organisation of activities of the security sector structures for countering crime and terrorism;

• organisation and conduct of initial and follow-up measures for crime detection and terrorist activity;

• ensuring diplomatic, aviation, nuclear, corporate security at various institutional and operational levels;

• conducting negotiations and overcoming crises with hostages;

• forecasting and analysing events, incidents and crises in the field of security and anti-terrorism.

Graduation:

Completion of studies takes place by defending a master’s dissertation or passing a state exam upon earning the required number of credits. GPA below 4.50 requires taking a state exam.

The graduation process complies with the NBU Standard for Educational and Qualification Degree Completion.

Graduates pursue careers as:

• Administrative specialists (managers, heads and experts);

• Management and Organization Analysts: Specialists, Security;
