Luxury Hotel Management (in Bulgarien)
Short presentation of the programme:
Luxury Hospitality Management Programme aims to prepare specialists in high-end hotels, meeting the expectations, requirements and characteristics of customers from the luxury segment. The programme was developed jointly with the team of the Hyatt Regency Sofia hotel and according to the current trends and training models worldwide. The master's programme is interdisciplinary and has a strong practical orientation with the aim of training highly qualified staff with professional experience acquired in the course of study. In all courses, one seminar session is held with a business expert in the relevant field.

During the eight semester, there is an obligatory master's internship at the Hyatt Regency Sofia hotel supervised by a mentor.
International mobility:
The programme provides an opportunity for international Erasmus + student mobility at universities in Italy, Germany, Finland, Portugal and Turkey.
Graduate Student Competencies:
• knowledge and skills to manage high-end segment customer service processes, complying with international standards;
• knowledge on the organisational culture, human resource and team management, management of basic and additional services;
• knwledge on the peculiarities of MICE tourism, communications and wellness concept in luxury hospitality;
• skills to lead the activities of organising and offering products and services in the field of luxury hospitality;
• skills to analyse, plan and manage activities in the luxury hospitality industry;
• skills to develop strategies and projects in the field of hotels, restaurants and medical treatments;
• skills in the field of financial management and the peculiarities of pricing in the hospitality industry;
• skills to apply different methods of reputation and luxury brand management.
Graduation:
Completion of studies in the bachelor's programme takes place by defending a bachelor's dissertation or passing a state exam upon earning the required number of credits.The graduation process complies with the NBU Standard for Educational and Qualification Degree Completion.
Occupation and possible positions:
Graduates pursue careers in management positions in high-class accommodation, dining and entertainment establishments in the country and abroad, in various hotel chains, as well as in other sectors of the luxury tourism industry with similar activities. The positions that graduates can occupy are related to operational and strategic management in luxury hospitality, marketing and sales management, management of basic and additional services in the luxury segment, management of hotels, restaurants, casinos and other entertainment facilities, human resources in tourism.
