Spatial and Interior Product Design (in Bulgarian)
Short presentation of the programme:
The programme aims at training designers in theory and practice of objects used in interior spaces: furniture, lighting fixtures, decorative elements, etc. The course of study includes courses in spatial design, product design, sustainable design, lighting, working with materials and structures, 3D computer-aided design, modelling and visualisation. Training courses comprise course project development.

Graduate Student Competencies:
•in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of the main branches of spatial design, product design and creative skills in the field of volume-spatial and graphic problems of the subject environment;
•interdisciplinary artistic, technical and technological training in the field of product and interior design;
•skills and knowledge in the field of sustainable design, furniture design, architectural design of interior spaces, children's toys and interior items of all kinds;
•qualification to work with modern 3D software for design, project documentation and production
Graduates will be able to:
•create products for furnishing and decorating interior spaces independently and in a team;
•develop spatial design and product design using modern software products.
Graduation:
Completion of studies takes place by defending a master’s dissertation or passing a state exam upon earning the required number of credits.
The graduation process complies with the NBU Standard for Educational and Qualification Degree Completion.
Occupation and possible positions:
Graduates pursue careers as product and interior design designers, consultants and designers in public and private companies, studios and architectural offices, and also as freelancers.
