Leadership and Public Management (in Bulgarian)
Short presentation of the programme:
The programme provides fundamental instruction and specialisation in the field of public management to its applicants and representatives of the political and administrative elite. The programme provides answers and actionable tools to cope with the challenges and career opportunities in the public sector. The broad interdisciplinary perspective of the programme aims at training professionals meeting the requirements to hold management and senior management positions in public organisations of the central and territorial administration, as well as in European and international public organisations.

Practical training courses:
The programme provides practical training in the Council of Ministers, ministries, regional and municipal administrations, non-governmental organisations.
International mobility:
The programme provides an opportunity for international student mobility at universities in Germany, Poland, Romania, Turkey, Finland, France and Italy.
Graduate Student Competencies:
Graduates will have knowledge and skills in:
• development, implementation, evaluation and control of national and international policies, as well as strategic documents for the provision of public services;
• critical thinking about the values and ethics of those implementing state and public administration.
Graduation:
Completion of studies takes place by defending a master’s dissertation or passing a state exam upon earning the required number of credits. The graduation process complies with the NBU Standard for Educational and Qualification Degree Completion.
Occupation and possible positions:
Graduates hold managerial and senior management positions in the Bulgarian administration and European administrative structures.
