Art Management. Management of Cultural Institutions and Creative Industries (in Bulgarian)
Short presentation of the programme:
The programme is focused on building expertise in setting up and developing cultural institutions and managing cultural and creative industries. Pursuing the aim of enabling the students to acquire entrepreneurial and management knowledge and skills in the field of management of cultural institutions and creative industries, the programme offers lecture courses in these areas. The instruction includes training courses, incl. project development and an internship in cultural institutions. The programme is suitable for employees in NGOs, cultural and community centres, private businesses, public sectors as well as culture and the arts enterprises.

Practical training courses:
The programme provides practical internships in state and private organisations in the field of culture and arts upon request.
International mobility:
The programme provides an opportunity for international student mobility at universities in Germany, Poland, Romania, Turkey, Finland, France and Italy.
Graduate Student Competencies:
• knowledge of the cultural sector, current trends in its development, and the impact of global and European processes on it;
• skills in managing cultural institutions and creative industries, incl. development of strategies for development, budgeting, mobilising alternative sources of financing, resolving conflicts; managing and policy-making in the field of culture.
Graduation:
Upon earning the required number of credits and defending a master's dissertation (or passing a state exam)
Occupation and possible positions:
Graduates hold management and senior management positions in public institutions, non-governmental and private organisations in the field of culture and arts.
