Short presentation of the programme:
The programme focuses on various genres of painting, such as portrait, still life, landscape, figurative composition, etc. The instruction encompasses lecture courses on Artistic Practices in Painting, Still Life Drawing in Painting, Composition in Colour, Colour Theory, Performance, Installations: Workshop, Classical and Modern Technologies in Painting. The training courses include exhibitions, practices in studios and performances. The programme offers a preparatory module for candidates with degrees in other educational fields.

Practical training courses:
The program provides placements and internships in NBU specially equipped studios and external organisations under contracts.
International mobility:
Erasmus+ conracts with art academies in France and the Czech Republic and Poland.
Graduate Student Competencies:
Graduates will have mastered knowledge and skills in:
• the field of history and theory of fine art;
• creative application of modern and classical painting techniques and technologies in works of art;
• presenting and advertising to the public the artistic works created by them and by other authors.
Graduation:
Completion of studies takes place by defending a master’s dissertation or passing a state exam upon earning the required number of credits.
The graduation process complies with the NBU Standard for Educational and Qualification Degree Completion.
Occupation and possible positions:
Graduates pursue careers as freelance artists, specialists in museums and fine art galleries, consultants in private firms and companies.
