English Studies (English Language, Culture and Literature) (in English and Bulgarian)
Short presentation of the programme:
In the first two years, the training in the programme focuses on general education courses, two-semester courses in the main areas of study, such as The Science of Language, The Science of Literature, Anthropology, Sociology, Mythology and Religion, and practical courses, such as Practical Grammar, Academic Skills, Communication Skills, etc. In the third and fourth years, the instruction consists of specialised and training courses, such as individual assignments, creative performances, projects using language technologies, etc. In the fourth year, the programme offers two specialisations, Teacher and Translator, leading to a professional qualification.

• skills in translating and interpreting from and into English; teaching English; analysing modern linguistic phenomena.

Upon earning the required number of credits and passing state exams.
