Short presentation of the programme:
In the first two years of the programme, the focus is on general education courses, two-semester courses in the main areas of study, such as Sociology, History of Fine Arts, Consumer Behaviour and Standard of Living, Introduction to Tourism, Tourism Resources, Introduction to Tourism Economics, Introduction to Management, Introduction to Finance, Tourism Management, Business Communications in Tourism, Tourism Product Competitiveness, etc. In the third and fourth years, the course of study includes lecture and training courses. In the fourth year, the programme offers two specialisations leading to a professional qualification.

Practical training courses:
Practical training includes internships in hotels, restaurants and tour operator companies.
International mobility:
The programme provides an opportunity for international student mobility at universities in in Italy, Germany, Russia, Portugal, Turkey and Finland.
Graduate Student Competencies:
• knowledge about the economic principles and laws, the characteristics and patterns of development of the tourism industry;
• skills in organising and managing a tourist company in the field of hotels, restaurants and intermediary activities.
Graduation:
Completion of studies in the bachelor's programme takes place by defending a bachelor's dissertation or passing a state exam upon earning the required number of credits. In addition to the professional qualification provided, students can also obtain additional specialisation by enrolling in a minor programme.
The graduation process complies with the NBU Standard for Educational and Qualification Degree Completion.
Occupation and possible positions:
Graduates pursue careers as tourism management specialists, specialists in the field of cultural tourism, managers and employees in hotels, restaurants, travel agencies, tour operator companies, art galleries, museums, etc.
