PIDM507 Детето в риск. Уязвими деца в ранна възраст - деца в институции и резидентна грижа
Анотация:
The course’s goal is to introduce students to contemporary research on early childhood development and the role of family separations as a risk factor. Institutional upbringing is presented as a wide-spread form of state care for children, which the thematic deinstitutionalization reform in Bulgaria aims to replace with a network of community-based services. Students will have the opportunity to learn about different approaches for preventing family separation focusing on early childhood intervention – multidisciplinary approach, which implementation requires coordinated efforts for development assessment, interventions for overcoming the difficulties and involving the family in a therapeutic process.
