ELCB803 Тайните на невербалната комуникация
Анотация:
The rapid development of information and communication technologies since the 1990s – accelerated worldwide by the COVID crisis – and the related opportunities for visualization of knowledge bring to the fore the communicative applicability of nonverbal signals of behavior. Course discussions will provide relevant soft skills for working in the new global situation of intensely used multichannel nonverbal communication where face-to-face interaction is the primary playground for getting sensitized also for on-screen meetings within distributed professional environment.
Students will be introduced to a wide range of real / close-to-real practical case studies dealing with ways to perceive and interpret responsively micro-expressions and negotiate efficiently in typical situations of the expanding internet world. They will learn how to unlock the nonverbal basics of the “silent language” with impact for different culture-based partners. Course participants will learn how to proactively and responsively use a socially acceptable etiquette of nonverbal behavior so that they can co-evolve and adapt to the dynamic changes of culturally attuned ambiences.
The solutions discussed during the lectures are integral part of the lecturer’s professional expertise and theoretical research at the University of Freiburg, Jena, Erfurt, Leipzig (1996-2009), as well as his online collaboration with students from the University of Western Sydney (WSU). They are set also thanks to his experience as a consultant to the German Postbank (2004-2009).
