Анотация:
The purpose of this course is to help you design networks that meet a customer’s business and technical goals. Whether your customer is another department within your own company or an external client, this course provides you with tested processes and tools to help you understand the traffic, flow, protocol behaviour and internetworking technologies.

Компетенции:
• Students successfully completed this course will know successive stages of creating a network.
• The students will be equipped to design enterprise networks that meet customer’s requirements for functionality, capacity, performance, availability, scalability, affordability, security and manageability.
Предварителни изисквания:
• Students should know the basic concepts for building local and global area networks.
• Students should have some knowledge in network hardware and remote access technologies

The lectures in the system Moodle are sufficient for the successful design of the network.
Средства за оценяване:
During the course there will be two written tests. In each test you have to answer two questions from a predefined conspectus. The questions will contain description of the different phases of network design.
The exam questions will be three.
