Курсът дава възможност за придобиване на знания относно съвременните разбирания и концепция за гражданственост. Студентите се запознават с основните понятия свързани с гражданствеността, политиките на гражданственост, формите на гражданственост, основни съвременни теории за гражданственост. Курсът предлага иновативен подход към темата като включва и изключително актуални проблеми като Е-гражданствеността.
