Анотация:
This course aims at developing students’ skills for the practical research application of their knowledge in the area of study of the relationship between language and thought.
COGM017 is a practical course for students who have enrolled in COGM016.
Students enrolled in this course (COGM017) receive course credit for one assignment which involves the planning, execution, analysis, and write-up of a research project related to the topics of Language, Culture, & Mind.
Students enrolled in COGM016 develop their design and present it in written form and as a brief oral presentation in class. They then carry out the study, analysis, and write-up for course credit here.

Students will be able to:
-- demonstrate knowledge of key terminology, topics, and concepts in the field
-- demonstrate knowledge of the main empirical paradigms for the research of the relationship between language and thought
-- participate in and undertake research activities in this field of study
-- produce a structured text describing research analyses in this area
