Анотация:
•The project is designed to give the students a firm grasp of some of the major facts and trends in the historical development, structure and effects of modernization in South-East Europe and appreciate it in specific and in a comparative aspect;
•The course is focused on the peculiarities and unique character of the modernization in South-East Europe, and on its relation to general models.

Students who complete this course:
1) will know:
•Major facts and trends in the historical development, implementation of respective models and effects of modernization in South-East Europe
•Formative influences of the different models of modernization in South-East Europe in economic and political terms
2) will be able to:
•Comparative analysis of modernization in South-East Europe and in the contemporary world;
•Individual research in field of modernization in South-East Europe (in specific cases, and in global terms)
