Анотация:
The course has a schedule of 30 academic hours, with different forms of study load:
I. Independent work with study materials
• Working with a textbook - reading, reflecting on experience, forming a concept, carrying out the included exercises and completing tasks for analysis and research of the work environment and practice.
• Work on problems with articles and literary sources.
• Work with electronic resources.
• Development of a current assignment assessed and reviewed by the professors, individualizing the work of each student.
• Development of group projects
II. Group work and participation in workshops requiring active participation and involvement of students in discussions and exercises to train skills and understanding
• Participation in training seminars, in which knotty problems are resolved with active training methods and necessary personal qualities are formed and improved.
• Participation in self-help groups and virtual teams to discuss and solve study and work problems.
• Participation in synchronous and asynchronous electronic discussions moderated by the teacher.
• Participation in video - conference seminars.
The course presents the essential and methodological features of quality management.
The main objectives of the course are for students to gain practical skills in quality management in business organizations.

Students who have successfully completed the course:
can:
• to define the nature, features, main factors and conditions determining the quality of the product and its competitiveness;
• to identify the main roles of standardization, including of international standardization organizations for quality development;
• comprehensively analyze and evaluate the generic characteristics, approaches and basic concepts of quality management;
• derive and analyze the content and technological features of the system approach in the context of strategic quality management;
• apply the main technological tools to increase the effectiveness of the approaches and processes used in strategic quality management
• formulate, classify and evaluate quality management strategies according to characteristics;
• to define the basic requirements for managers, for organizational design and resource provision, with a view to the quality implementation of quality management strategies;
• to make decisions on the application of the fundamental approaches, methods and procedures for formulation, selection, development, implementation, control and evaluation of quality management strategies.
