Анотация:
COURSE OUTLINE AND OBJECTIVES
The extracurricular course aims to explore to what extent students can handle the creative opportunities to use the impact of RSA Animate as a presentation tool, considering the following three aspects:
- professionally animated products employed to make knowledge more accessible
- creating animation at an unprofessional level as a powerful tool
- employing animation as a tool to find social solutions
The visual work of RSA animate videos is carried out by people at Cognitive Media. The technique has its origin in live scribing that maps conversations and presentations as the emerging of ideas, drawn quickly. Early animates were speeded-up camera recordings of live drawing. Later the procedure became more complex and sophisticated.

Upon graduation students will have acquired knowledge about:

- basic elements of RSA Animate video
- how to trigger the attention of a small or wide audience using RSA Animate videos?
Upon graduation students will have acquired skills:
- to employ and/or manage the creation of small RSA Animates in a professional presentation context
- how to trigger the attention of kids and adults?
