Компетенции:

Students who have successfully completed the course:

1) know:

- the syntactic, lexical and grammatical features of the language at A1 level

- basic grammar rules;

- a relatively wide range of words, phrases and structures with which to compose their own texts (oral and written) in order to communicate successfully in the foreign language at a low advanced level.

2) Can:

- use the language material and communicative strategies set out in the language proficiency requirements at level A1.

- understand familiar words and basic expressions related to themselves, their family and their specific environment (e.g. greetings, invitations);

- use simple expressions when the interlocutor is prepared to speak more slowly and to help with the formulation of the utterance; when greeted or invited, respond appropriately in a variety of everyday situations; request and give information related to everyday life; convey short messages and make brief descriptions of places and people, express joy and bitterness;

- understand elementary texts related to everyday life, short letters, advertisements, announcements, etc.;

- formulate short messages (e.g. greeting, invitation and reply to invitation), fill in forms with personal details, write a short letter or card to people close to them.
