The course aims at applying the theoretical and scientific tools and the acquired knowledge and skills by the students within the first semester of the International Business Development Master program by encouraging them to present and critically analyze specific contemporary problems and trends in the global economy. The goal will be achieved by accomplishing a written assignment. The student is supposed to study, present and analyze a concrete, real-life contemporary issue in the world economy today. 4. Factors for economic underdevelopment: comparative analysis of two least developed/ underdeveloped economies (see attached list) and comparison of the factors and causes of their economic performance - similarities, differences, recommendations.
