Annotation:
The course is part of the education of the students in the first semester of the program and is on the analysing of the competitiveness of the small and medium-sized enterprises in Bulgaria and in the world. During the course the students will enlarge their knowledge in the successful starting and developing of micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises

Students who complete this course:
1) will know:
• the specifics of competitiveness of the small and medium-sized enterprises in Bulgaria and in major trade partners of the country;
• the opportunities for improving the competitive advantages of the enterprises in that segment
2) will be able to:
• understand and apply the basic terminology in the filed of small and medium-sized enterprises in Bulgaria and in European Union;
• evaluate the existing restrictions in the economic policy and the business environment
