Професионална автобиография:

Пенка Христова има магистърска степен по когнитивна наука и докторска степен по психология. Преподавател е в Нов Български Университет, където води предимно курсове по когнитивна психология. Изследователските ѝ интереси и научни публикации са в областта на човешкото мислене и памет, но също екзекутивни функции, емоции и мотивация. Работи предимно чрез поведенчиски експиременти. Автор е на статии и студии, публикувани на български и чужди езици. Участва в научно-изследователски и приложни национални и международни проекти.

Penka Hristova is an associate professor of Cognitive Psychology at New Bulgarian University She received her MS in Cognitive Science and Ph.D. in Psychology from the New Bulgarian University. Her research focuses on the mechanisms that underpin analogies, constructive memory, as well as on the influence of emotions and motivation on cognitive processes. She uses a variety of behavioral measures such as RT, accuracy, verbal protocols, and content analyses in her studies. She was a manager of the Experimental Psychology Laboratory at the Department of Cognitive Science and Psychology at New Bulgarian University from 2007-2014.
