Анотация:

The course aims to provide a general overview of the nature and goals до Social entrepreneurship in its capacity as an alternative еconomic model, or a model that complements and supports the social functions of the State. The economic and social benefits of various forms of Social economy are considered, i.e. as a factor for the economic independence and social empowerment of marginalised groups and disadvantaged communities. Examples of good practices and innovative forms, in a European and local level, are also provides and discussed.

Компетенции:

1) Students will know:

• the relationship between Social entrepreneurship, Social policies and the Market;

• the main principles on which Social Economy is based;

2) Students will be able to:

• connect basic facts, phenomena, processes, actors and theories with their socio-economic, political and historical context;

• synthesise and present publicly information from various sources on course topics;

• critically comment on texts (scientific and journalistic) related to the analysis of problems;

• critically evaluate and apply their knowledge (through the real-life project).

Basic knowledge of the relationship Economy-Society-Public policies.

Basic principles of Micro and Macroeconomics.
