PHEB403 Философия на ума
Анотация:
Philosophy of mind is one of the most fascinating branches in contemporary philosophy. It links philosophy to psychology, cognitive sciences and cybernetics. The course outlines some of the key concepts and theories of mind from Descartes to Searle. What are the main approaches to explaining the nature of the mind? What is the “mind-body problem” and why it is so hard to resolve it? What is consciousness and can a machine think? These are only few of the central questions examined in the course.
