Annotation:
This course introduces students into the domain of personality psychology. We shall look for answers to the questions: what is personality and how is personality studied? We will examine the basic theories of personality in order to understand how personality is organised, how it functions and develops.

1) will know:
• Basic knowledge of personality theories and their scientific and practical implications.
• During the course students will be researching, writing and presenting their work.
2) will be able to:
• Understand and use specialized literature on personality
• Analyse personality theories and approaches
• Relate ideas and facts on personality structure, processes, growth and development
Prerequisites:
Students are required to have the following knowledge and/or skills:
General notions of psychology and psychological research will be helpful.
