PIDM508 Practice: Development of Case Formulation, Assessment and Intervention Plan


The course introduces the knowledge on Case formulation and develops students’s skills to use the theories they have studied to obtain deeper understanding of the meaning of the clients’ symptoms and to build and maintain therapeutic relationships with their clients.The course provides key clinical skills for working with children and adults.

Описание на курса:


1) Knowledge: to apply concepts from the fields of developmental psychology, systems and psychoanalytic theories to the therapeutic situation.

2) Skills:

to organize the data from the client’s assessment in a case form to be agreed with the patients;

to use the formulation in the course of the therapeutic process as a basis for interpretations and therapeutic behavior.
