Анотация:
The course does not repeat courses in economics, but presents the new theories in the field of economic thought and the schools that seek solutions to economic problems in the 21st century. Having successfully completed this the students will be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of:
-Key economic thinkers and their contributions to economic thought and to public debates;
-Economic concepts such as knowledge economy, circular economy, sustainable development, creative economy.

Having successfully completed this course students will be able to:
-Critically evaluate the assumptions and limitations of the economic theories and arguments presented in class]
-Identify the relevant economic concept which needs to be used in a particular case]
-Еxpand their vocabulary in the field of economics;
-Understand the importance of modern economic theories;
-Know what are the challenges facing modern economies and what are the approaches to solving them.
