Анотация:
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the different relationships between philosophy and cognitive science and to acquaint them with the philosophical issues raised inside cognitive science and at the intersection of cognitive science and philosophy.

After completing successfully this course the students will:
1) know:
• What has been the role of philosophy in the cognitive revolution;
• What distinguishes philosophy of cognitive science from philosophy in cognitive science;
• What is at stake in the debates about the role of representations and computation in human cognition;
• The philosophical grounds of the cognitive theories of emotions, reasoning, concepts and morality.
2) be capable of:
• Presenting correctly the different views about the use of representations, normative rules, and concepts in human cognitive system;
• Discussing the evidence for and against the conceptions of embodied cognition, theory of mind and cognitive foundations of morality.
