Annotation:
his course introduces students into the domain of personality psychology and to the field of personality research. We shall look for answers to the questions: what is personality and how is personality studied. What concepts, methods and research procedures were developed and are employed in studying personality and individual differences?

The course has been designed to give basic knowledge of concepts, methods, procedures and findings in personality research. During the course students will be researching, writing and presenting their work.
The course goals and students learning outcomes are for the students to:
- Understand and use specialized literature on personality
- Analyse personality research, methods and findings
- Relate ideas and facts on personality functioning and measurement
Prerequisites:
Knowledge of personality theories.
General notions of psychology and psychological research will be helpful.
