COURSE ANNOTATION AND AIMS:

The course is developed by the Bulgarian Institute of Human Relations in the philosophy of Liberal Arts. Its major objective is to introduce the relational paradigm in human sciences. The approach is participatory - students are encouraged to explore important areas of their social and emotional experience and conceptualize it in the framework of different explanatory theories of human relations: psychodynamic theory, system theory, etc.

The design of the course - lectures, discussions and work with cases - aims to promote active students' participation. The students are expected to work in couples and to write short essays on the topic of each lesson. The students are invited to form work couples for the time being of the course and are provided with consultation on the subject of the course. The consultation format allows them to explore their working relationships in the context of their roles.
