Анотация:
The Course PSYE 210 “Brain and behaviour, part 2” provides an introduction to cognitive neuroscience and neuropsychology. Students are presented with the main sensory and motor functions, as well as the most significant cognitive brain functions. Furthermore, the brain structures involved in these sensorimotor and cognitive processes are discussed. The link between the endocrine and nervous systems is also presented.

Students who complete the course successfully will:
1) know:
The main underlying principles of the most significant sensorimotor and cognitive functions.
2)be able to
link different sensorimotor and cognitive functions, as well as their impairment, with specific brain structures and mechanisms;
