Анотация:
Practice: Continuing Professional Development - Part 1 is the first of the three elements of the outside auditorium form Practice in MSc HRMD, which is an expression of the concept of continuing professional development and lifelong learning and complies with the requirements of CIPD and BHRMDA professional standards for human resource managers.
The purpose of Practice: Continuing professional development is to enhance the ability to integrate knowledge, to provide conditions for putting it into practice and provide an environment for sharing experiences with practitioners through work on specific projects in organizations.
In this course students are required:
• to observe, explore, and summarize the experiment in a real work environment issues discussed in this program. Specific areas of research, analysis and evaluation, are: all functional areas in the context of HR issues, including people development, reward systems, employee relations, information technology, performance management, career development and more.
• apply a variety of skills, like: teamwork, interviewing, presentation, effective communication, negotiation, consulting, analytical thinking, effective decision making and more.
The Practice covers three semesters of the program and was structured as coherent, logical units, with specific instructions for students, including the achievement of specific competencies, tasks and activities.
The Practice allows students to move towards their Master's thesis.
In Practice: Continuing Professional Development - Part 1 the student writes the professional standards and makes self –assessment of yours HRMD competence and planning activities to achieve a high level of competence, taking into account the conditions of organizational and business environment.

1) know:
• HRMD Professional Standards and understand their importance and value to the organization and society.
• Understand the concept of thinking practicioners and their roles like operational capacity at the business unit, and role for strategic development of the organization.
• Knowledge of self-assessment methods and planning techniques of personal development
• The philosophy, principles and practice of lifelong learning.
• Techniques and strategies for self-management of the process of continuing professional development.
• How to develop skills of analysis and critical thinking - alone or by sharing knowledge with others.
2) be able to:
• systematically manage their personal and professional development using appropriate strategies, frameworks and techniques.
• prepare a personal development plan that reflects the organizational requirements, long-term individual goals and learning outcomes.
• understand, explain and critically evaluate the opportunities for education - formal and informal, work-related and personal perspectives.
• Identify needs for personal development
• define learning goals and develop personal development plans.

- What is expected of the students? • To consider the Professional Standards for HR managers to become familiar with the criteria for knowledge and performance necessary for professional human resources manager; • Identify the most interesting sections of these standards according to their individual interests in this area; • To make a self-assessment of knowledge and experience in their chosen field of HRMD comparing them with the standard by asking questions like: "What is important, and why?" Were there certain trends and relationships in their development to date. Assessment should be presented in a report; • To develop the Preliminary management report (self-assessment).
