Annotation:
Students will approach two of the four basic management functions, planning and organizing and they are expected to submit a report on Starting-up their own business. They are supposed to work in a team of two and to collaborate on preparing the paper.

1) will know:
• the basic administration and organization principles of management that underlie effective organizations
• the vital role managers play in implementing basic management techniques to achieve an organization’s mission and goals
• why responding appropriately to the global environment is crucial for managerial and organisational success.
2) will be able to:
• define the role and responsibilities of managers at different levels in the organizational hierarchy
• identify the basic principles of organisation focusing on planning and organizing
