POLS501 Междукултурен диалог
“Cross-cultural Diaogue” consists of 30 academic hours, respectively – 24 hours of lectures, 4 hours – discussions and 2 hours practical tasks – simulation of negotiations.
The Course will present to the students the dynamics of the dialogue between different cultures: “inter” explicitly presupposes real relationship (interactions) and dependencies; “culture” – specifics of the value system, life-style, relationship regulations, different views on the world, time and space.
The aim of the Course is to present to the students the necessity of positive contacts between the different social groups, as well as between the individuals, with the intercultural sphere as a world view, methodology and perspective for action. Two main social constructions are discussed in the course, from the point of view of the Intercultural – the liberal-pluralistic (lack of repressive legislation based on ethnical, racial, sexual or other characteristics) and corporative-pluralistic (admission of the above characteristics and adoption of quotas in each social sphere).
