Анотация:
The course gets to students knowledge and skills for using modern technologies in administration. Processes of design, choice, developing and evaluating information systems with application in administration are discussed in the course. The course includes e-government functioning requirements and technical decisions for successful implementation. E-services of e-government are commented as new approach for providing administrative services, also as a prerequisite for reengineering the public organization.
Goals:
• To give knowledge and skills for using modern technologies in administration.
• Knowledge about process of developing information systems in administration.
• To present the use of administrative electronic services by citizens and business in Bulgaria.
• To consider organizational changes in administrative organization relating to introduction of e-services

After completing successfully this course the students will:
1) know:
• Design information systems with administrative application.
• Are informed for innovative information technologies in public administration.
• Know guidelines for development of information technologies - integration, cloud technologies, mobile systems.
• Students will be familiar with strategy for development of e-government in Bulgaria, stages and tasks ahead in implementing it.
• Students are informed for current and future administrative e-services for citizens and business.
2) are capable of:
• Students will be able to apply the new information technologies in modern administrative organization.
• Students could carry out selection and evaluation of technologies from the organization strategy view point.
• Students can define priority directions in the information strategy for e-government development.
