Анотация:
The course presents up-to-date research and scientific knowledge of the main biological, social and psychological theories of the development of addictive behavior (drug use, gambling, sex addiction, internet addiction, etc.). The main approaches for prevention and evidence based treatment. Students are introduced to the psychological basis of addictive behavior, the place of psychological counseling when working with different age and social groups, as well as patients with psychiatric comorbidity.
