Компетенции:

• The students are acquainted with the most relevant literature and research in the field and with the current historiographical debates on the character and on the functioning of the Ottoman institutions and society in the 15th – 19th centuries, with a special focus on South-Eastern Europe.

• The students improve their abilities of analysis and interpretation of primary and secondary sources as well as their individual written and oral performances.
